The co-financed campaign by Greece and European Union "Sea Food Fantastic" which is part of the approved "Promotion and improvement of the market for fishery and aquaculture products of the Prefecture of Kavala, in Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany and Bulgaria", participated with significant success at the Seafood Expo 2023 exhibition (HALL 4, STAND NO 4G200) at Fira Barcelona, Gran Via Av. Joan Carles I, 64, Barcelona, Spain.
In the frame of the exhibition, a cooking show was also took place by the famous chef Matt Fisher, who created dishes using the showcased products. During the event, which lasted from 12:00 to 16:00 on both days, the chef discussed about the dishes during the cooking demonstration, focusing on the quality of the promoted products.
The menu included the following:
Steamed mussels with lemon.
Mussels with garlic, organic white wine, and parsley sauce served in half shells.
Sea bass with black olives and diced tomatoes.
Grilled sea bream with saffron-infused oil, parsley, and fresh lemon.
Esteemed professionals from the HoReCa sector, leading importers, distributors and representatives, had the exceptional opportunity to learn more about the superior European quality of Greek sea bass, sea bream and mussels of Kavala, their unique taste, rich nutritional value and engage in conversations for potential collaborations.
